When it matters most, Enable All can be relied on to provide exceptional Nurse led complex care nursing support for your loved one. The Directors of Enable all are qualified Nurses with additional Community and Critical Care qualifications and experience.
Whether the in home nursing care and complex support you require is provided directly by a Nurse, or provided by our qualified and experienced Support Workers under the supervision and guidance of Nurses, you can rest assured our clinical governance is second to none.
Complex care may include:
Enteral tube feeding via a Naso-Gastric Tube (NGT) or a Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastroscopy tube (PEG)
Advanced Respiratory Care:
Assisted ventilation support via a machine with a mask or tracheostomy tube.
Problems with swallowing and eating where food and/or secretions go into the lungs. There is a high choking and lung infection risk associated with dysphagia.
Complex bowel care:
Disability and illness may lead to altered bowel function including incontinence or constipation. Your loved one may have a stoma (colostomy or ileostomy) with a bag. Bowel treatments may be prescribed and can be performed by Nurses or Support Workers under training and guidance.
Enable All can provide seizure monitoring and management documented in a Care Plan. We can ensure support persons are qualified and experienced to administer medications as directed by a physician.
Advanced Pressure Care and Skin Integrity Support:
Self movement limitation as a result of disability such as para or tetra-plegia increases the risk or pressure injury and skin tears. These complications can increase the risk of infection and hospitalisation.
Some disabilities may lead to lymphoedema (swelling of the limbs) caused by build up of fluid in the tissue. Frequent support such as massage and use of pressure devices can reduce the swelling and side effects while increasing qualify of life.
Our complex support engagement process –
To provide safe, effective and sustainable support we will:
1 Meet with you (the client), family (informal supports) and required health professionals to ensure a Client focussed service provision. Communication is the key to ensure supports are coordinated and funded according to the NDIS plan.
3 Arrange a meeting with the Client and all involved with their support to ensure everyone understands their role and responsibility.
2 Compare the support needs of the Client with the availability of our qualified and experienced employees and recruit new people when required.
